Welcome to the website of Don Godwin, Brooklyn NY based audio engineer, producer, live sound engineer, multi-instrumentalist. I operate a portable, mobile multitrack music recording service based in Brooklyn, NY, with access to the five boroughs. My mission is capturing warm and natural sounds in a relaxed and comfortable environment, using reliable top-quality equipment to make engaging and exciting recordings for working musicians and artists, without the cumbersome overhead of exessive/unnecessary gear or space.
I’ve also been keeping myself busy as a musician, playing tuba, tenor horn, and percussion and gigging steadily with such groups as: Raya Brass Band, Panorama Brass Band, Lucky Dogs, Zlatne Uste, Callers, Stagger Back Brass Band, Veveritse.
